The decision, issued by the federal government through the Federal Ministry of Transportation, aims to make the holiday season more enjoyable for Nigerians traveling across the country. While the specifics of the service are still being finalized, the NRC assured the public that the details, including dates and operational guidelines, would be shared soon.

In the statement, Mahmood said, “This special train service is part of the government’s effort to ensure a festive and comfortable end-of-year experience for Nigerians. We wish all our valued customers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance.”

In related news, the Federal Government has also praised the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) personnel for their continued efforts in combating insecurity and promoting peace within the country. Minister of Defence Muhammed Badaru highlighted the importance of enhancing personnel training to improve operational safety during a NAF seminar held in Abuja.
