According to reports from Ireporter Online, Nigerian fitness coach and wellness advocate, Oluchukwu Okeke, founder of Jemad Fitness, is gearing up to attempt the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the Longest Step Aerobics Marathon, slated for December 2025.

Okeke’s forthcoming record attempt is designed to spotlight resilience, motherhood, and the transformative power of movement as a tool for healing and empowerment.

Her motivation for this global challenge stems from a deeply personal journey. After grappling with postpartum depression, Oluchukwu discovered restoration and renewed strength through step aerobics, a passion that soon evolved into a purpose-driven movement. What began as a personal coping mechanism has now inspired hundreds of women across Nigeria to reconnect with their bodies, rebuild confidence, and embrace holistic wellness.

Stepping became my therapy,” Okeke shared. “Each move reminded me that I was still here, still strong, and capable of becoming more. This record attempt is not just about endurance—it’s about hope. I want women to know that they can rise again, no matter what they’ve faced.

The December challenge aims not only to test physical limits but also to amplify a message of emotional healing and empowerment that transcends borders.
