The funds will be allocated between mineral exploration initiatives and small business support programs. According to a breakdown of the disbursement, N6 million will be directed towards the initial phase of mineral exploration in Akoko North West Local Government Area, aimed at identifying valuable mineral deposits.

A team of experts specializing in Geoscience and Mining Engineering is set to commence work on the project starting Monday, March 10, 2025.

Additionally, N18.5 million will be distributed among 37 small businesses in Okeagbe, with each receiving N500,000 in financial support.

Community leader Olumide Aliu highlighted the significance of this contribution, emphasizing its positive impact on the local economy.

“We sincerely appreciate Dr. Olalere’s generosity and commitment to the development of our community. His philanthropic gesture serves as an inspiring example of community-driven progress,” Aliu stated.
