NNPP Urges Political-Leaders To Honor-Promises And Sacrifice For Nigeria (Text)

Industrialist and New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) chieftain Olufemi Ajadi has called on political leaders to sacrifice for the country and fulfill their promises to voters.

Speaking on Eid-El-Kabir, Ajadi urged leaders to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience and develop the country to bring prosperity to Nigerians.

Ajadi said, “Despite the harsh economy, I enjoin Muslims to rejoice for the gift of life. When we are alive, there is hope for a better tomorrow.

We should be grateful to Allah for the peace we enjoy in our nation. Political leaders must remember promises made during election campaigns and fulfill them for the electorate who defied rain and sun to vote for them. Our leaders should fear and respect God and ensure people do not suffer.”
