NPFL News: Sunshine Stars Determined To Retaining Key Players (Details)
Sunshine Stars are determined to keep hold of their top stars for the new Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The Owena Waves managed to beat the drop last season.
The Akure-based outfit stated that none of their players still under contract are negotiating with other clubs.
“This is to notify the general public, especially fans of our dear team that NONE of our players who have contracts with us are moving out of the team.
“None of them are negotiating with teams elsewhere. We are determined to keep hold of our best legs,” the club wrote on X.
Sunshine Stars players and officials will resume for pre-season training next week.
The club have also retained head coach, Kennedy Boboye for the 2024/25 season.
