I Thought He Was Pretending” – Lady Reveals Husband Can’t Eat Swallow With His Hands

A Nigerian woman has amused social media users after revealing that her husband has never eaten swallow with his bare hands despite being in a relationship with her for 13 years.

According to Ireporter Online, the woman, identified as Cook with Temmy, shared the revelation while highlighting the difference between her eating habits and those of her husband.

Temmy explained that when she initially met her husband, she assumed he deliberately avoided eating swallow with his hands because he wanted to appear sophisticated around her.

She said she expected that he would eventually become comfortable enough to eat the traditional meal with his hands, but that moment never came.

“When I first met him, I thought he was just forming and trying to act posh with me, and I was actually waiting for the day he would eventually use his hands,” she stated.

However, Temmy revealed that after 13 years of being together, including five years of marriage, her husband has still never used his bare hands to eat swallow.

She further disclosed that the situation goes beyond simply preferring cutlery, claiming that her husband does not even know how to use his hands to eat swallow.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I am in my 13th year of being with this man and 5th year of being married to him as his wife, and till today, he has NEVER used his bare hands to eat swallow,” she said.

“He doesn’t even know how to use his hands to eat swallow,” she added.

Temmy also joked about the contrast between their eating habits, describing herself as someone who enjoys eating swallow with her bare hands.

“Meanwhile, he is married to the agbero like me that uses her bare hands to eat. You see this life…” she wrote.
