Oluomo, who was impeached from his position, stood alongside two key officials of the assembly, Dayo Samuel and Adeyemo Adedeji, to answer charges of alleged embezzlement of public funds amounting to a staggering N2.5 billion during his tenure as speaker in 2022.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) spearheads the legal pursuit, unfolding a narrative of financial irregularities that has shaken the political landscape of Ogun State.
