According to Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the operation unfolded on February 5, 2024, when operatives received intelligence on the hideout of Isa Dei-Dei’s gang in the FCT suburb. Acting swiftly on the information, the team moved in for a possible arrest.

However, upon arrival, the bandits spotted the police presence and attempted to flee. A fierce gun battle ensued as the operatives pursued the criminals, resulting in the neutralization of Isa Dei-Dei. Although other members of the gang managed to escape, they sustained gunshot injuries in the process.

The successful operation serves as a testament to the Nigerian Police Force’s commitment to combating crime and ensuring the safety of citizens.
