According to a statement by PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, the South-South Zonal Congress will now take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Similarly, the South-West and North-Central congresses, originally scheduled for March 22, 2025, have been shifted to April 12, 2025.

The congresses will be held simultaneously at the following locations:

• Port Harcourt, Rivers State (South-South Zone)
• Ibadan, Oyo State (South-West Zone)
• Jos, Plateau State (North-Central Zone)

The purpose of these congresses is to elect Executive Officers and National Ex-Officio Members for each zonal chapter in accordance with the PDP Constitution and Guidelines.

The NWC has urged all aspirants, stakeholders, party members, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and the media to take note of the new date and act accordingly.
