Posterity Will Be The Judge : Bankole-Balogun Commends Dan Orbih Over Stance On Supreme Court Ruling
WORDS OF A WORTHY LEADER.
Having read the comments of the Vice Chairman South South of our great party today, I am inspired to publicly commend his fight for justice .
We have tread the right path for years in this party. We have laboured hard and spent our resources and God given talents on this party .
Sadly the cancer of waivers have led us down the garden path .
What We are really confronted with is a major problem in Edo state ,which is that of ethics .
This has been a torturous ,arduous journey, which ordinarily should never have been.
One now begins to doubt the uprightness of our jurisprudence.
With this judgment , one thing is clear , the PDP as we know it in Edo state has been shamefully sodomised . Whether it can get back to good health is to be seen in the coming days and months .
This is the price you pay for short circuiting the system with dubious waivers that ends up bringing in people who do not share your ethos , ethics , struggle etc.
Once more , I wish to honour the forbearance of the Chairman South South and Leader , Chief Dan Orbih.
The stoic manner with which the leadership and the state working committee stood firm in the face of injustice and gross affront to the political process must also be commended.
I must also commend all our candidates and leaders of the party who stood firm .
In my heart , deep down in my heart I know that when the history of this period is written, it will be clear that political behaviour is not predicated on any morality or due care . What this suggests is that life of the masses and those who toil and struggle is meaningless.
My heartfelt sympathy also for those who expectedly showed their true colours yet again . Prosperity will be the judge .
May God have mercy on them as they have brazenly thwarted all the good and hard work we have together put into this great party to make it electable .
I wish all PDP members, and in particular ,those who have now come to be known as the legacy PDP, the best of luck.
A house divided against itself can never stand .
