Powerful Politician Dumps Wike’s Camp, Donates 20 Buses To Atiku’s Campaign (PHOTO)

Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, a former governor of Gombe State, has donated 20 buses to the campaign of the PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

He made the announcement during Atiku’s visit to Gombe for the PDP presidential campaign rally in the state.

Former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, who ran for and lost the PDP presidential nomination to Atiku, was a political ally and strong supporter of the former governor.

According to pundits, Dankwambo’s donation of the vehicles demonstrated his commitment to the Atiku campaign.

Dankwambo pledged his support for Atiku to win the presidential election in 2023 while speaking at the Gombe Township Stadium, the site of the PDP presidential campaign.

He called Atiku the “next President of Nigeria.”

Dankwambo is contesting for the Gombe-North senatorial seat, which he lost to the incumbent, Senator Saidu Ahmed Alkali, of the APC, in 2019.
