Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has completed the signing of Super Falcons star Nicole Payne, as announced by the club on Thursday.
In a statement, the French club expressed their delight in welcoming Nicole Payne, the Nigerian international defender, who will be part of the Rouge et Bleu squad until June 2026.
Nicole, who was born in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, began her football career there before joining the Nigerian national team in 2021. She had previously represented the USA at various youth levels, including U15, U16, U17, and U18.
Her recent achievement includes being part of the Nigerian team that finished fourth in the 2022 African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) held in Morocco.
Although Nicole has made two appearances for the Super Falcons, she was not selected to be part of Nigeria’s team for the 2023 World Cup taking place in Australia and New Zealand.
