Putin Accused Of ‘Satanism’ By Navalny’s Widow: Denounced For Withholding Body
In a scathing indictment, Yulia Navalnaya, the widow of the late Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny, has accused President Vladimir Putin of engaging in “satanism” by withholding her husband’s body, asserting that “no true Christian” would condone such actions…..READ ALSO Timeline Of Navalny’s Fight Against Putin: 10 Crucial Events
Navalnaya’s condemnation, aired in a video titled “Putin’s Fake Faith,” lambasts the Russian leader for defying Orthodox Christian death rites and holding Navalny’s body beyond the customary mourning period. She vehemently denounces Putin’s actions as sacrilegious, questioning his claims of religious devotion.
“Putin pretends to be a VERY religious man. He kisses icons and touches the relics of Saint Nicholas,” Navalnaya asserted. “Faith is not about kissing an icon. Faith is about goodness, about mercy, about salvation.”
The accusation comes amid widespread suspicion surrounding Navalny’s death, with his family and allies alleging foul play orchestrated by the Kremlin. Navalny, Putin’s most prominent political opponent, died in a penal colony on February 16, prompting accusations of state-sponsored assassination.
Navalnaya’s impassioned plea underscores the anguish and anger surrounding Navalny’s death, with his family left grappling with grief and indignation as they seek justice and closure. The refusal to release Navalny’s body has fueled further speculation and intensified calls for accountability within Russia and beyond.
As Navalny’s widow and supporters demand answers, Putin’s image as a defender of Orthodox values stands challenged, with Navalnaya accusing him of betraying both human and divine laws. The standoff over Navalny’s body epitomizes the deepening rift between Putin’s regime and those advocating for freedom, justice, and the rule of law in Russia.
