Rivers Police Speaks On Arrest Of Prime Suspect Responsible For The Brutal Murder Of DPO As Photo Goes Viral

The Rivers State Police Command has officially denied the arrest of Gift David, the notorious leader of the cult gang responsible for the brutal murder of the Ahoada Divisional Police Officer, SP Bako Angbasbim, in Ahoada East Local Government Area.

David’s gang ambushed and tragically took the life of SP Angbasbim last Friday.

According to Grace Iringe-Koko, the spokesperson of the command, this denial comes in response to a circulating photo claiming to depict the arrest of Gift David, known as 2 Baba.

The image shows two suspects seated on the ground at a police station surrounded by law enforcement officers. Iringe-Koko clarified that the photo is indeed fabricated and did not originate from the Rivers State Police Command.

She assured the public that once the perpetrators of this heinous crime are apprehended, an official announcement will be made. Iringe-Koko further emphasized the commitment of the police force to bringing all those involved in the gruesome murder of Angbasbim to justice.

The police spokesperson for the state urged members of the public to make use of the N100 million reward offered for information leading to the arrest of Gift David and his accomplices. She stressed the importance of reporting any pertinent information with the slogan, “If you see something, say something.”
