Royal Warning: King Ateke Tom Stands-Firm In Defense Of PAP-Leadership
In a resolute message aimed at safeguarding the integrity of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), the King of Okochiri Kingdom in Rivers State, HRM King Ateke Tom, has unequivocally praised Dr Dennis Otuaro, the current Administrator of PAP, for his resolute efforts in revitalizing the initiative. During a recent visit by Otuaro to his palace in Okochiri, King Tom highlighted the administrator’s diligent implementation of reforms aimed at enhancing the efficiency and efficacy of the programme.
Asserting Otuaro’s competency and commitment to the Niger Delta region, King Tom admonished detractors against undermining the administrator’s initiatives. He emphasized that Otuaro’s leadership exemplifies a dedication to consultation and collaboration with stakeholders, crucial for advancing the programme’s objectives.
Addressing concerns over unwarranted criticisms directed at Otuaro, King Tom condemned such actions as counterproductive to the region’s welfare and the beneficiaries of PAP. He commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Otuaro, affirming the president’s discerning choice in ensuring effective leadership of the programme.
In response, Otuaro expressed gratitude for the monarch’s endorsement and reiterated his administration’s commitment to promoting the welfare of Niger Delta communities. He acknowledged Okochiri’s pivotal role in regional advocacy and pledged to continue engaging with key stakeholders to achieve sustainable development goals.
The visit underscored Otuaro’s proactive approach in fostering inclusive governance and stakeholder participation within the Niger Delta, positioning PAP for enhanced service delivery and community empowerment under his stewardship.
