SabiGirl Unveils Bigger, Bolder Talent Hunt With N1m Grand Prize
According to Ireporter Online, the SabiGirl Talent Hunt is set to return for its fourth edition, with the 2025 event scheduled for Friday, November 28, at the KDC Events Centre, Waterlines Junction in Port Harcourt. The founder, Stephanie Nkechinyere, explained that the initiative was created to inspire young Nigerians to embrace and develop their natural abilities rather than feel restricted to traditional career paths. She noted that Nigerian youths have consistently demonstrated exceptional creativity, and the platform aims to give bold, talented individuals the opportunity to showcase and maximize their potential.
In a shift from previous editions, the organisers revealed that the 2025 talent hunt will welcome a broader range of participants, opening its doors to musicians, dancers, comedians, poets, and spoken-word performers. Nkechinyere said the new format is designed to accommodate diverse artistic expressions, promising a vibrant and competitive showcase.
The organisers also announced attractive rewards for the 2025 cycle, including a N1 million cash prize for the winner, N500,000 for the first runner-up, and N300,000 for the second runner-up. Participants also stand a chance to benefit from mentorship programmes, brand exposure, and possible industry collaborations.
Reflecting on its evolution, SabiGirl noted that the platform originally began as a scholarship scheme for gifted children, many of whom have now completed their secondary education through the foundation’s support.
