“You Betrayed Everyone!” – Fayose’s Brother Explodes With Birthday Bombshell

According to Ireporter Online, Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has issued a scathing public criticism of the ex-governor on the occasion of his 65th birthday. In a video shared on his Facebook page, Isaac accused his brother of neglecting those who played key roles in his political rise, including members of their family.

While congratulating Fayose on his new age, Isaac prayed that his brother would abandon what he described as a long-standing pattern of selfishness. He recounted sacrifices made by loved ones during Fayose’s early political pursuit, particularly the contribution of their late sister, Bimpe Shorinolu, who he said reportedly sold her land in Maryland, Lagos, in 2002 to raise ₦3 million for Fayose’s governorship ticket when funds were scarce.

Isaac lamented that despite such sacrifices, Fayose had distanced himself from virtually everyone who supported him, including family members. He claimed that none of Fayose’s maternal siblings, nor their mother, were invited to the former governor’s birthday celebration, alleging that they were dismissed as burdens.

He further accused the former governor of abandoning loyal members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), despite the party offering him its platform twice to become governor of Ekiti State. Isaac compared Fayose’s alleged behaviour with political families known for their unity, such as the Adelekes, the Kalus, and the Yar’Aduas, expressing regret that the same togetherness did not exist within the Fayose family.

Despite the strong accusations, Isaac insisted his remarks were not borne out of resentment but a desire for his brother to reflect and embrace change. He stressed that the family was doing well independently and continued to wish the former governor well, urging him to “turn a new leaf.”
