“The Reports Are Real” — Nwoko Breaks Silence On Regina Daniels’ Alleged Substance Abuse
According to Ireporter Online, Senator Ned Nwoko has confirmed the authenticity of the widely circulated medical reports alleging that his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels, tested positive for multiple hard substances, including cocaine, marijuana, alcohol, morphine and other opiates.
The reports, issued by Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja and signed by its Managing Director and Head of Clinical Services, Dr. Adekunle Adesina, indicate that the Nollywood star has been battling severe substance dependence. The documents also show that she was enrolled in a detoxification programme between September 9 and October 15, 2025.
Details from the medical evaluation reveal that the hospital’s psychological emergency team was summoned to Nwoko’s residence on September 23 after Regina had reportedly gone 48 hours without sleep and was exhibiting signs of heightened aggression. The assessment further described her behaviour as verbally hostile, agitated and emotionally inconsistent, noting that her mood appeared “elated and evasive.”
The hospital also highlighted several complications during her detox process, stressing that progress had been limited because the actress “still has access to psychoactive substances, thereby frustrating the process.”
However, despite the leaked document gaining traction online, the medical facility issued a clarification through its Instagram page, insisting that it did not release the report publicly, while maintaining its commitment to patient confidentiality.
Responding on Saturday, Senator Nwoko stated that the hospital did not deny authorising the document but only clarified that it was not responsible for its circulation. He added that Regina’s recent actions do not reflect a stable mental or emotional state, describing her as vulnerable and surrounded by individuals who may be exploiting her situation.
Nwoko emphasised that his primary concern is for Regina’s full recovery, her safety, and her ability to remain present in the lives of her children.
