Garba Shehu Criticizes Obasanjo on Buhari’s Birthday
In a separate development, Garba Shehu, former spokesperson to Buhari, took a strong stance against ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo in his birthday tribute to Buhari. Shehu accused Obasanjo of constantly undermining his successors by writing disparaging letters or calling for their removal post-election.

Shehu praised Buhari for his restraint after leaving office, noting that the former president had adhered to his commitment of staying out of Abuja, allowing the new administration to find its footing without interference.
