Reports also highlight a string of explosive attacks in Zamfara State. Last Friday, two IEDs detonated on the Dansadau-Malamawa and Malele roads, causing significant disruptions but no casualties.

In a separate incident on Wednesday morning, 12 people were feared dead after a commercial vehicle ran over an explosive device on a bridge in Yar Tasha village. On Sunday, another explosion involving an 18-seater bus killed the driver, who was the sole occupant.
