This oversight undermines the principles of balanced development and peace, which are essential for national progress,” Obi remarked. He emphasized that the region’s agricultural potential requires government backing to ensure long-term stability and growth.

As the region continues to face instability, Obi urged the National Assembly and government officials to act swiftly to address the budgetary oversight. He concluded by calling for a more inclusive and fair approach to the nation’s development, one that benefits all regions of Nigeria.
