Reflecting on the year 2024, Governor Mohammed acknowledged the difficulties experienced in the economic, political, and social spheres. However, he expressed pride in the resilience of the people of Bauchi State, who have managed to overcome these obstacles through faith and collective effort.

“Praise be to God for guiding us through 2024 and allowing us to witness the arrival of 2025,” he said. “Despite the challenges, we have made progress, and now, as we embrace the new year, we look forward to greater peace and prosperity.”

The Governor also highlighted the state’s continued focus on infrastructure and social development, even in the face of financial constraints. Significant strides have been made in road reconstruction, mass housing, urban renewal, education, agriculture, economic empowerment, and youth development.

“As a government, we remain committed to improving our performance and advancing the socio-economic and political progress of Bauchi State,” he stated. “We will deepen consultations, engage stakeholders, and uphold our responsibilities to ensure good governance.”

Additionally, Governor Mohammed reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring security across the state, with an emphasis on collaboration between the government, security agencies, and the public. He called for the collective effort of all citizens in the fight against crime and insecurity.

In his closing remarks, the Governor appealed for continued prayers, cooperation, and understanding from traditional rulers, religious leaders, and political stakeholders to maintain peace, harmony, and prosperity in Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
