Tinubu Arrives Kaduna For Rally, Visits Birnin Gwari Bandits Attack Victims

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), arrived in Kaduna State on Tuesday for the North-West flag-off of the party’s presidential and governorship campaign rally.

The APC presidential candidate was accompanied by Senator Kashim Shettima, the Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, and the Governors of Kano, Abdullahi Ganduje, Kebbi, Atiku Bagudu, and Jigawa, Abubakar Badaru.

They were met at Kaduna’s Dana Airport by Governor Nasir El-Rufai, the state APC governorship candidate, Senator Uba Sani, and other top Kaduna government officials.

After arriving in Kaduna, the former Lagos State governor went to Birnin Gwari Local Government Area, one of the councils ravaged by insurgency and banditry.

He is in the area to express his sympathies to the victims of the attacks and to learn firsthand about the devastation caused by the attacks.

Tinubu is driving the two and a half hours to Birnin Gwari under tight security.

He is accompanied by Kaduna State APC governorship candidate, Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Senator Uba Sani, and members of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
