Governor Mohammed emphasized that while the governors fully support Tinubu’s leadership, certain cabinet members are hindering his administration’s progress. He urged the President to streamline his cabinet to ensure smoother governance.

The governor made these remarks during the commissioning of the 14.1km Umuakali-Eberi Road in Omuma Local Government Area, Rivers State, where he also commended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, for focusing on the welfare of his people and prioritizing governance over politics.

Praising Governor Fubara’s leadership, Mohammed expressed confidence in his ability to lead, citing Fubara’s calm and maturity during political crises in the state. He encouraged older politicians to step aside and make way for younger leaders, highlighting Fubara as a prime example of strong and capable leadership.

Governor Fubara, in his response, thanked the people of Omuma for their support and reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering on promises of development. He also announced plans to improve local education and healthcare infrastructure, continuing his focus on building strong institutions and delivering good governance.

Both governors emphasized the importance of collaboration and strong leadership in advancing the interests of the people.
