According to the statement, the injured individuals are currently receiving medical attention at the NAF Medical Centre in Port Harcourt. Gabkwet further mentioned that the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, is en route to Port Harcourt to assess the situation firsthand, ensure the well-being of the crew, and provide additional directives.

The incident underscores the inherent risks associated with military operations, even as the Nigerian Air Force remains committed to addressing challenges related to economic sabotage in the region. As investigations into the crash are likely underway, this incident serves as a reminder of the importance of ongoing efforts to enhance the safety and efficiency of military operations.
