Triumphant Entry: Oyo On Standstill As Tinubu Visits The Alaafin Of Oyo (News In Pictures)

The reception given to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the people of Oyo has indeed given credence to the above ancient African Proverb that when a child washes his hands well he can dine with Kings.

Today Oyo was on standstill as the former Lagos State Governor and 2023 presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu visited the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi at his palace.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu said the essence of the visit is to seek the blessings and endorsement of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi for his presidential aspiration.

The visit which was more like a TRIUMPHANT ENTRY had the blessings of the palace. The Jagaban was received by a mammoth crowd that would make the opposition green with envy.

The Alaafin in his words had this to say to the Jagaban.

“We have given you our real prayers because you came first and my ancestors have heard this today, THE DESIRE OF YOUR HEART COME 2023 WILL BE REALISED….”
