U.S. Set To Deport 124 Nigerians — Full Details Emerge

The government of the United States has announced plans to deport 124 Nigerians and other foreign nationals accused of committing serious criminal offences in the country.

According to reports from U.S. authorities, the individuals were placed on a “worst-of-the-worst” criminal list released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

The list, which featured the names and photographs of those affected, was published on the DHS website, although officials did not disclose the specific timeline for their deportation.

The statement revealed that the individuals were arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following directives from President Donald Trump’s administration as part of ongoing immigration enforcement efforts.

Authorities stated that those listed had been convicted of various serious offences, including sexual assault, drug trafficking, money laundering, and other criminal activities.

The DHS said the move was part of its broader effort to remove individuals it described as the most dangerous criminal offenders from the United States.

A statement from the agency noted that ICE officers were carrying out deportation operations focused on foreign nationals convicted of serious crimes, adding that the action was in line with the administration’s immigration policies.

Among the Nigerians listed were Sunday Adediora, Sunday Kunkushi, Mkpouto Etukudoh, Marcus Unigwe, Olaniyi Ojikutu, Boluwaji Akingunsoye, Ejike Asiegbunam, Emmanuel Mayegun Adeola, Bamidele Bolatiwa, Ifeanyi Nwaozomudoh, Aderemi Akefe, Solomon Wilfred, Chibundu Anuebunwa, Joshua Ineh, Usman Momoh, Oluwole Odunowo, Bolarinwa Salau, and Oriyomi Aloba.

Other names on the list include Oludayo Adeagbo, Olaniyi Akintuyi, Talatu Dada, Olatunde Oladinni, Jelili Qudus, Abayomi Daramola, Toluwani Adebakin, Olamide Jolayemi, Isaiah Okere, Benji Macaulay, Joseph Ogbara, Olusegun Martins, Kingsley Ariegwe, Olugbenga Abass, Oyewole Balogun, Adeyinka Ademokunla, Christian Ogunghide, Christopher Ojuma, Olamide Adedipe, Patrick Onogwu, Olajide Olateru-Olagbegi and Omotayo Akinto.

The publication also included several other Nigerians, among them Kenneth Unanka, Jeremiah Ehis, Oluwafemi Orimolade, Ayibatonye Bienzigha, Uche Diuno, Akinwale Adaramaja, Boluwatife Afolabi, Chinonso Ochie, Olayinka A.
