UAE President Mohammed Bin Zayed Calls Iran ‘Enemy,’ Warns UAE Is No Easy Prey

According to Ireporter Online, the Emirati leader, widely known as MBZ, made the remarks during a visit to a hospital where civilians injured in recent attacks were receiving treatment. In his comments, he sought to reassure citizens and residents while sending a firm message to those he described as adversaries of the UAE.

The president stated that although the UAE is admired globally as a model nation, its peaceful image should not be misinterpreted as vulnerability. He stressed that the country possesses the strength and capability to defend itself, declaring that it is “not easy prey” and warning that those who underestimate the UAE would be mistaken.

The development comes amid heightened tensions across the Gulf region as missile threats and aerial defence responses continue to raise security concerns. Reports indicate that Emirati air defence systems were activated shortly after a missile alert, despite earlier indications from Iranian leadership suggesting that strikes across Gulf states would cease.

During his address, MBZ also assured citizens and residents that the government remains committed to protecting the nation and everyone living within its borders. He expressed confidence that the UAE would emerge stronger from the current challenges while praying for continued security and stability in the country.

Analysts note that the comments represent the first public statement by the Emirati president since the conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran intensified.
