He expressed concern over attempts by some individuals to undermine the governor’s achievements in an effort to tarnish his reputation. Kula emphasized that he is committed to supporting Governor Alia and ensuring that his administration remains focused on delivering progress in the state.

Kula criticized Akume’s silence while certain groups, including the so-called “Agidi Choir,” allegedly made disparaging remarks about Governor Alia. He accused some politicians of deliberately sabotaging the governor’s efforts.

“Governor Alia will be held accountable if he fails to deliver,” Kula stated, adding that it would be a disservice to allow others to dictate the administration’s direction.

Highlighting the governor’s successes, Kula said, “Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has truly demystified governance in Benue, achieving so much in just one year and eight months. The progress we’ve made is unprecedented.”

He also defended his role as Chief Press Secretary, explaining that he uses his journalistic background to manage the governor’s image and counter attacks. “I am now practicing public relations but still apply my journalistic expertise to protect and promote Governor Alia’s vision,” Kula noted.

Kula questioned ongoing criticisms, asking why attacks persist despite the governor’s achievements. “Why is the CPS criticized for defending the administration? Why should I remain silent in the face of baseless accusations?” he asked.
