It’s election season again, and every gladiator is out there doing their best to prepare for the next phase, which is the post-Buhari era. Next year will undoubtedly be a watershed moment in Nigeria because one government will completely hand over to another, implying a fertile and virgin land for new political and career opportunities.

No matter which way the pendulum swings, one thing is certain: POWER MUST CHANGE HANDS, Buhari would be saying his final farewell to the national stage.

The APC PCC’s media directorate has received numerous compliments from notable quarters on how formidable and battle ready they are; they have a rich history of robust experience and finesse.

However, they face a difficult task in that President Buhari’s administration has, unfortunately, never carried the media along for the past 7 years, leaving the populace largely unaware of Buhari’s outstanding performance, which is beginning to manifest bountifully.

In terms of power, road infrastructure, policies such as the PIB and the Electoral Act, the railway revolution, the construction of the second Niger Bridge, the construction of the NDDC headquarters, Nigeria Air, the new national career and its upcoming launch, and many other commendable achievements. Buhari bailed out governors several times while maintaining a good GDP in the midst of a Covid -19 tattered global economy.

As a result, we can appreciate how difficult their jobs have become while taking into account the evil and deceptive rumours spread by the opposition, which have given the impression that only those who have been heavily financially induced are supporting Tinubu. These rumours are not only false and manipulative but also misleading.

Otunba is the Executive Chairman of Logica Media Group and the convener of the Nigeria Telecom Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the telecom industry. Ajiboye is a member of the Chartered Institute of Administration and a Registered Advertising Practitioner.
