Why APC Can’t Be Blamed For Insecurity – PCC Member

Aminu Jaji

Aminu Jaji, the Director of Contact and Mobilisation for the Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council for the North West, has stated that the All Progressives Congress inherited the country’s insecurity and thus cannot be blamed for it.

Jaji, a former Chairman of the House Committee on Intelligence and Internal Security and an ex-Zamfara State governorship aspirant under the APC in 2019, stated this during a press conference in Gusau, the state capital.

The former lawmaker went on to say that the APC-led government, led by President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), had done everything possible to address the issue.

Jaji also expressed confidence that the APC would win and retain the presidential seat in the upcoming 2023 election, as well as that Zamfara State would be delivered to the APC.

“I am very optimistic that APC would retain its seat at the national and State levels and if the APC presidential candidate is elected in 2023, he will make Nigeria and Nigerians very proud.

“I am sure that Senator Bola Ahmad Tinubu will take the issue of insecurity as his number one priority and will tackle it appropriately.

“We know that the security challenges were inherited by the APC-led government and the party has done everything within its power to tackle the problem,” he stated.

Jaji also stated that the oil well discovered in Gombe State was discovered during Buhari’s tenure, calling it “another landmark achievement” by the APC-led administration.
