World Bank Official Praises Tinubu As Africa’s Top President – Tijani

Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, has stated that President Bola Tinubu’s efforts to reform Nigeria position the country to become the leading nation in Africa. Tijani shared that the President’s economic reforms have earned him the title of the best president in Africa from a senior World Bank official.

Speaking at a celebration marking President Tinubu’s 73rd birthday, Tijani relayed a conversation he had with a World Bank senior member. The official expressed strong support for Tinubu’s leadership, saying, “If I were to recommend the best president on the African continent today, it would be your president.” She further mentioned that the World Bank is engaging with multiple African countries, encouraging them to visit Nigeria to learn from its reform strategies.

Tijani expressed his gratitude to President Tinubu for the opportunity to serve in his government, praising his resilience and commitment to improving Nigeria.

“Your dedication to a stronger Nigeria and your focus, despite challenges, have deeply impacted me as a young man. The privilege to serve is one that will stay with me, my family, and future generations,” Tijani remarked. He added, “I pray that your hard work bears fruit, not only benefiting Nigeria but also becoming a foundation for a stronger and prosperous nation while you are still with us. Nigeria will indeed become the great African power.”
