JUST IN: Many Displaced As Explosion Destroys Houses In Rivers (PHOTOS)
Following a fire outbreak in Elekahia, a densely populated area in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Friday morning, over 200 people were displaced, with goods and property worth millions of naira destroyed.
According to The Punch, a kerosene explosion caused the fire, which began around 8:30 a.m.

Some of the affected residents had traveled to attend the festivities, while others were at work when the fire broke out.
According to John Nnemeka, a Federal Fire Service official, they arrived early but were unable to access the scene due to the nature of the houses.
