Integrity Statement Is Now Facing Integrity Test – Dino Melaye Shares VIDEO Of Wike Making Vow To Support Winner Of Presidential Primary

Dino Melaye, the Spokesperson and Director of Public Affairs for the Atiku Abubakar/Ifeanyi Okowa Presidential Campaign for the 2019 election, wants Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike to keep the promise he made on the night of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential primary.

Wike, who was also in the running for the party’s ticket, had promised to work with whoever won, but events since then have threatened to derail the party’s bid to dethrone the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and likely lead to its implosion.

The G-5, which Wike leads, has maintained its call for the party’s National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, to resign for the sake of equity, fairness, and justice, noting that the party cannot parade a national chairman and a presidential candidate from the same region of the country (North).

Taking to Instagram with a video of Wike making the vow on the night of the primary, Melaye challenged the governor to maintain his integrity by keeping his promise, as all men must account for all vows made.

He wrote: “Nyeson Wike, Governor of Rivers State, promising to support anyone who wins PDP presidential primary. This integrity statement is now facing an integrity test. Mr Governor, please honor your vow that was made before God and man because we shall all account for all vows made.”
