BREAKING: Suicide Bomber Kills 20 In Popular Mosque
On Monday morning, about 20 worshippers were killed in a suicide bombing at a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan’s northwestern city.
According to AA news, 96 worshippers in the mosque were severely injured, according to Pakistani police.
Saddique Khan, a senior police official in Peshawar who provided the most recent casualty figures, stated that no one has yet claimed responsibility for the bombing.
Meanwhile, authorities have blamed the Pakistani Taliban, which has previously carried out similar suicide attacks.
According to police officials and witnesses, the bomber struck inside the mosque, where about 150 people were praying on Monday morning.

The bomber detonated his suicide vest while worshipers were praying inside, including many police officers from nearby police stations.
According to Zafar Khan, a local police officer, the impact of the explosion collapsed the roof of the mosque, which caved in and injured many people.
Meena Gul, a 38-year-old police officer, said he was inside the mosque when the bomb went off.
He claims he has no idea how he escaped unscathed. He also claimed to have heard cries and screams after the bomb detonated.
