BREAKING: Nigerian Footballer Slumps, Dies In Spain (PHOTO)
Hadi Ado Bala, a former Jigawa United defender, collapsed and died during a home match between his club, CD Madridejo FC, and SP Cabanillas in Spain’s Terceira Division.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Sunday. According to the Castilla-La Mancha Football Federation, the Nigerian youngstar collapsed in the 39th minute of the match for no apparent reason.

Medical personnel on the scene at the Municipal Toledo stadium were said to have rushed to his aid, but efforts to resuscitate him were futile, and he was later pronounced dead.
The deceased’s eldest brother, Misbau Ado Bala, who spoke on behalf of the family to Daily Trust in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, described the death as a loss not only to the family, but to Nigerians and the world of football.
Hadi, a 21-year-old Kafanchan native, began his football career with Arewa United FC and other clubs in Kafanchan, including Shareef Academy, Golden Balley, Zaria Bees, and Salama FC, before moving to Plateau and Jigawa states.
