2023 Elections: See What Happened To Tinubu’s National Campaign DG Lalong’s Senatorial Bid
Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong, who also serves as the Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), has been defeated in his bid to win the Plateau South Senatorial District seat.

In Saturday’s National Assembly elections, he was defeated by Rtd AVM Bali Ninkap Napoleon of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Returning Officer, Professor Meshak Goyit, declared that Bali Napoleon of the PDP received 148,844 votes to defeat Governor Lalong of the APC, who received 91,674 votes, and Tobias Nda of the Labour Party, who received 17,325 votes.
