BREAKING: Tinubu Threatened With Fresh Legal Action Amid Supreme Court Judgement (DETAILS)
The President General of the Igbo apex socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has expressed his intention to take legal action against the Federal Government for appointing only five ministers from the South-East.
Ohaneze contends that the Federal Government has shown partiality towards the South-East by allocating fewer ministerial positions compared to other regions in the Federal Executive Council.

“It is unjust for the President to allocate only five ministerial slots to the southeast, while other zones have 10 ministers,” he remarked.
The Ohanaeze leader characterized this allocation as inequitable and in violation of the principles of federal character.
He also called on the Federal Government to consider establishing additional states in the South-East to bring it on par with other geopolitical zones in the country.
He emphasized that the government’s failure to create an additional state is contributing to underdevelopment and hardship in the South-East.
