Former Plateau Governor Lalong Reacts To Appeal Court Verdict Sacking PDP’s Governor Mutfwang

Simon Bako Lalong, the Minister of Labour and Employment and Senator-elect for Plateau South Senatorial District, has expressed his satisfaction with the Court of Appeal’s verdict, which affirmed Nentawe Yilwatda Goshewe as the legitimately elected Governor of Plateau State on the APC ticket.

Lalong conveyed his joy, stating that the court’s declaration validates the overwhelming mandate given to Nentawe and his running mate, Pam Bot-Mang, by the people of the state.

He views this development as a positive sign for Plateau State, anticipating that Nentawe and his running mate will now have the opportunity to implement the Generation Next mantra and the ACEES agenda, propelling the state to new heights.

While acknowledging the constitutional right of the PDP and its ousted candidate, Caleb Mutfwang, to explore all available legal options, Lalong is confident that Nentawe’s victory will stand the test of time.
