Police Authorize Baker Hughes To Dispose Of Expired Explosive Materials

According to a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, the disposal exercise is scheduled to occur from Tuesday, March 12th to Friday, March 15th, 2024.

The statement disclosed that the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit of the command will oversee the disposal process, beginning daily at 9:00 am in Kporghor community, Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The Command advised the general public and residents of Kporghor community to remain calm and not be alarmed by any loud noises during the exercise. Additionally, it reassured that all necessary precautions have been put in place to mitigate any potential risks associated with the disposal process.
