Caught Red-Handed! Ogun Police Nab Trio In Shocking Motorcycle Heist

The Ogun State Police Command has apprehended three suspects in connection with separate motorcycle theft incidents across different areas of the state.

The suspects, identified as 23-year-old Abibu Yusuf, 30-year-old Sanni Saidu, and Adejumo Michael, were arrested following a surge in motorcycle robberies in the region. Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the arrests, explaining that Yusuf and Saidu were detained for allegedly stealing a motorcycle worth ₦1 million from Daniel Michael, as well as another from a resident named Majek Obasanjo near the Fidiwo area in Owode Egba.

Odutola further revealed that two cutlasses were recovered from the scene. Additionally, Adejumo Michael was arrested after he attempted to steal a Bajaj motorcycle from a church in the Oke-Itoku area of the state. The police have assured the public that investigations are ongoing, and efforts are being intensified to curb motorcycle theft in Ogun State.
