It Has Been Two Years Of Purposeful leadership- Ovia Residents Pass Vote Of Confidence On Hon Dennis Idahosa

We define purposeful leadership as ‘the extent to which a leader has a strong moral self, a vision for his or her team, and takes an ethical approach to leadership marked by a commitment to stakeholders’.

Yesterday marked democracy day in Nigeria and it was a day for reflection while a pocket few took to the streets to register their displeasure at the Government.
Also, it was time for speech-making by politicians, organisations, foreign sympathisers etc. For some others, it was an avenue for merry-making.

But for Ovia residents and stakeholders it was time to reappraise the performance of their representative sent to Abuja.

The Lawmaker representing  Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon Dennis Idahosa was on the hot seat as he gave an account of his 2 years of stewardship.

With more than 50 people-oriented projects already completed the lawmaker was indeed given a pat on the back for a job well done.
His commitment to the purposeful direction of projects executed was highly commended and many Ovia resident aired their opinion on his quality representation.

Here are a few words of appreciation and recognition by respondents.

“Dennis Idahosa’s leadership is all about a purposeful driven commitment towards his people, Dennis keeps protecting our interest in Abuja and still yet we get to see him every week in our communities either inspecting projects or getting feedback from his constituents, it is not every time we get to see lawmakers this humble and humane. “- Osaro Eghosa

“As you can see it is a vote of confidence for the stewardship of this young man, he has made us proud and we shall pay him back when the right time comes, for now, my advice for him is to keep his focus and continue the laudable projects he’s is known for.”- Elder Francis Igbinosa.

“Dennis Idahosa’s commitment to seeing our children have better and quality education is worth commending, he has built bridges and constructed educational facilities that have made our children take their schooling as a priority” 32-year-old Igoubazuwa Resident, Oshodi James.

“We have never seen a lawmaker closely associated with his people like Dennis, he’s always with us and we appreciate the sacrifices he makes to always be around, showing us compassion and love, our youths are been trained on various skills acquisition with the provision of portable borehole water in various communities, that we are gathered today to hear him list out his scorecard is as a matter of appreciation because we see all these wonderful things he does” James Iyoha.
