Breaking: Ogun State Governor Celebrates Afenifere Leader, Pa Fasoranti, On His 98th-Birthday

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has described the leader of Afenifere, the Yoruba socio-political group, as a man of exemplary character and wisdom.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Lekan Adeniran, to mark the 98th birthday of the Afenifere leader, Prince Abiodun said Pa Fasoranti exemplifies leadership with responsibility both in public service and after retirement.

The governor noted that the Afenifere leader has an unblemished record while in public service and has dedicated his life to championing the cause of the Yoruba people and advocating for a better Nigeria.

Prince Abiodun recalled Chief Fasoranti’s tireless efforts in promoting peace, progress, and development in the country and his unwavering dedication to the ideals of democracy and good governance.

“Throughout his journey, Chief Fasoranti has exemplified wisdom, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the principles of justice, equity, and unity. His remarkable leadership has inspired generations, leaving an indelible mark on our nation’s history.

“As we commemorate Chief Reuben Fasoranti’s 98th birthday, let us reflect on his immense contributions and honor his legacy, which will forever remain an indelible mark in the annals of our nation,” the governor said.
