Katsina Government House Hit By Major Fire Outbreak
The Katsina State Government House in Katsina has reportedly been gutted by fire early Monday morning.
However, the cause of the fire had yet to be ascertained.
A source whose house is close to the Government House, Alhaji Bashir, told Ireporteronline in Katsina that the fire started around 6 am.
He said, “I saw a fire service truck rushing in. I was in my house as early as 6 am after prayers, a fire service truck rushed into the Government House, and I later learnt there was an inferno inside the red chamber where Governor Dikko used to host guests”.
Our correspondent’s efforts to speak with the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim l Mohammed, proved abortive as he failed to respond to his calls.
