In a recent development, it has been reported that several ministers and their political sponsors have ramped up efforts to retain their positions in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet ahead of an anticipated shakeup. This follows the presidency’s announcement on Wednesday that Tinubu was planning a significant reshuffle.

According to sources, many ministers have started frantic lobbying through their godfathers to remain in Tinubu’s good graces. A presidential aide revealed, “Yes, this is typical.
