Boniface shared the terrifying experience on his Instagram stories, posting images of the wreckage and expressing his immense gratitude for surviving the ordeal. In his post, he wrote, “Na so una for just hear say my enemy don die. God is the greatest,” reflecting on how close he came to disaster.

This incident comes just 24 hours after Boniface scored the match-winning goal for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-1 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, October 19. The 23-year-old, who has been in top form with seven goals and one assist in ten appearances this season, is a strong contender for the 2024 CAF Africa Player of the Year award.
