Troost Ekong Drags Libyan Authorities After Airport Ordeal

Libya’s Secret Plan To Sabotage Super Eagles Revealed – Shocking Details InsideNigeria’s Sports Minister, John Enoh, is calling out the Libyan Football Federation for what he claims was deliberate mistreatment of the Super Eagles during their recent trip to Libya. The Nigerian team, who were there for their 2025 AFCON qualifier against the Mediterranean Knights, endured a nightmare at the airport, stranded for hours without food or internet.

Enoh expressed his outrage two days after the incident during an interview on Channels Television, accusing Libya of setting the Nigerian team up for failure. He rejected Libyan claims of poor treatment during their visit to Nigeria, stating that the Port Harcourt Airport they arrived at is one of Nigeria’s best. He added, “There’s no way players would be left lying on the floor in such conditions.”

It took diplomatic efforts and a social media uproar to get the Super Eagles cleared to leave. Enoh also criticized CAF (Confederation of African Football) for their silence, revealing that it took them over 13 hours to intervene, leaving the Nigerian players in limbo.

With questions about Libya’s ability to host international games under such conditions, Enoh hinted at deeper diplomatic and football-related concerns between the nations.
