Gospel singer and minister Lilian Nneji has raised concerns over what she described as an alleged deliberate attempt by some individuals to prevent event organisers from inviting her to minister at their programmes.

Nneji made the allegation in a video shared on Instagram, where she claimed that several organisers had attempted to contact her but were allegedly given misleading information about her whereabouts and availability.

According to the singer, she had recently encountered about four people who told her they had planned to invite her to their events but were informed by unnamed individuals that she had travelled, was on holiday or was unavailable.

She questioned claims that she was currently on a tour, stressing that she would personally announce such engagements through her official social media platforms.

Nneji expressed concern that the alleged misinformation was being deliberately circulated to prevent her from receiving invitations to minister at events.

She described the alleged conduct as “stylish witchcraft” and urged those involved to stop, warning that such actions would not benefit them.

The gospel artiste also addressed other claims about her, including suggestions that she no longer lives in Lagos, that she is proud and that there are uncertainties about her background.

Nneji explained that she was born in Lagos and continues to maintain strong ties to the city. She also dismissed comments about her personality, saying she was not overly concerned about being described as proud or snobbish.

The singer further questioned why some people who claim not to have her contact details would fail to connect event organisers directly to her despite allegedly having ways to reach her.

She therefore advised organisers interested in booking her to use the contact details provided on her verified social media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, rather than relying on third parties.

Nneji assured prospective organisers that her team remains active and available to respond to genuine invitations.

According to Ireporter Online, the singer ended her message by appealing to anyone allegedly involved in the reported scheme to desist, stressing that such actions would not take them anywhere.
