Busola Tejumola, Executive Head of Content and Channels for West Africa at MultiChoice, confirmed this in a statement released on Monday.

She stated that submissions opened on Monday and will remain open until January 31, 2025.

Tejumola highlighted that the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards honor outstanding talent, creativity, and innovation in the African film, television, and entertainment sectors, showcasing the continent’s top storytellers, performers, and production experts.

“Filmmakers, producers, production companies, and creators are encouraged to submit films, made-for-television movies, or television series that were aired or publicly screened between December 1 and December 31, for a chance to be celebrated at Africa’s most esteemed awards event,” she stated.

“The awards have established themselves as a symbol of excellence, celebrating the richness and diversity of African storytelling. We are thrilled to once again open our doors for talented creatives from across the continent to present their exceptional work to the world,” she added.
