Nigerian Customs Achieves Historic 135% Revenue Growth At MMIA

A statement from the command’s Public Relations Officer, Usman Abdul, confirmed that this success was driven by exceptional performance, dedication, and adherence to operational standards by the officers. The revenue for 2024 exceeded the command’s target of N56.86 billion, reflecting a N14.77 billion increase, or a 20% rise. Notably, July 2024 saw the highest-ever monthly revenue of N12.084 billion.

Comptroller Effiong Harrison praised the efforts of the officers and acknowledged the invaluable support from the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, and other stakeholders. Harrison expressed confidence that the command would continue its successful trajectory in 2025.
